In front of the enthusiasm of the tourists, the cold remained ineffective as tourists welcomed the New Year in Kanha. One of the popular Tiger Reserves in India is the Kanha National Park also known as Kanha-Kisli National Park. Being the largest tiger reserve, a large number of tigers are found here. A Lot of tourist trend was seen here in the new year too. Tourists were also seen waiting for their turn in the queues one after the other.

Amidst the natural environment here, a large number of tourists welcomed the new year. Also, various preparations were made for the celebration of the new year in various hotels and resorts under the national park area where at 12 o’clock in the night everyone wished Happy New Year to each other, and in the morning, the Kanha Jeep Safari was done.

As per the information received from the Kanha National Park Management, there were a total of 159 vehicles that entered Kanha from the Khatia Gate in the morning and evening, 106 from the Mukki Gate, 14 from the Sarhi Gate, and 4 from Fen in the morning and evening. Thus, resulting in a total of 791 tourists during the morning and 698 during the evening time. Both foreign and domestic tourists enjoyed the safari in Kanha Park. Tourists here, go in large numbers as the Tigers are often sighted by them!

With the minimum temperature record of 6.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday, the tourists visited the park with their friends and family members wrapped in warm clothes but there was no lack of enthusiasm in them as the cold remained ineffective amidst their enthusiasm. 

Also, due to the winter vacation, a large pool of domestic and foreign tourists were attracted toKanhato celebrate the new year amidst the natural environment due to which online tickets were fully booked. And, apart from this, long queues were also seen for the offline tickets at the gates.

The Reason why different types of animals are flourishing in this reserve is its rich biodiversity and diverse geography.

Despite their efforts, India's Arunachal Pradesh state and West Bengal state failed to save the Barasingha, an endangered species of deer. But, Kanha National Park, on the other hand, brought a ray of hope by saving the endangered Barasingha from extinction. 

Also, the reserve is a protector of the most aggressive species of dogs also known as Dholes which is an endangered Indian species.
