Once you are inside the forest you will have all forest perks within the premises. You might come across deer, tigers, and gour after a few hours of safari, and may be possible within one hour you will spot the tiger. Maybe you will remain hopeless and have no tiger spotting. So do not rely on tiger spotting then you will be disappointed and if it happens then it’s an added asset of your trip.

There are 4 core zones for safari Kisli, Mukki, Sarhi, and Kanha in Kanha National Park while 4 buffer zone for jeep safari is Khapa, khatia, phen, and sijora. People have a myth that they can sight tigers only in the core zone but this is not true. 3 hours morning jeep will take you to the deep forest of the park while in the afternoon 3 hours jeep safari is also a good thing to explore.

Reaching over here in Kanha National Park is easy and most of the nearby national parks can also be explored. 

The nearest airport to the park is Jabalpur (160 Km), Raipur (250 Km), and Nagpur (300 Km). 

 

Railways: Gondia and Jabalpur are the two closest railway heads for reaching closer to Kanha National Park. Gondia Railway Station is distanced up to 145 km and it takes 3 hrs to drive from Kanha.
